Generation 2

11 - John Duren, son of George Duren, was born May 16, 1744 in Craven County, South Carolina, he married Winfred Ezell, born September 17, 1777 in Virginia.  John and some members of his family left South Carolina sometime after 1820 and resided in Alabama approximately 20 years before migrating to Houston County, Texas in the spring of 1847.  John and Winfred had eight children that were located:  Thomas Jesse, James, Sarah, Isbellar, Lydia, Nancy, Janey, and John Jr.

112 - JAMES DUREN, born in 1803.

113 - SARAH DUREN, born in 1805.

114 - ISBELLAR DUREN, born in 1808.

115 - LYDIA DUREN, born 1811.

116 - NANCY DUREN, born 1814, married ? Bradley.

117 - JANEY DUREN, born in 1817.

118 - JOHN DUREN, JR., born in 1820.
