Numbering System

The first ancestor that was found was numbered "1" (i.e. George Duren's number is 1); the first child of "1" was numbered "11", just add a 1 to the parents number, (i.e. John Duren's number is 11); the second child of "1" was numbered "12", just add a 2 to the parents number, etc. If there were more than nine children, letters of the alphabet were used (i.e. 11A would be the tenth child of 11). |
